Stargazing
After some (legal) chemical fortification, I was finally able to get down to the business of sailoring. Which was brilliant!! We were on the 4-8 "C" watch (AM & PM), and we were treated to the brightest and most vivid display of stars I've ever seen. The only light obscuring them was the moon, and .. other stars.
Just before passing the torch to the "A-team," we gawked through a CAPITAL(!) sunrise, which flung reds, pinks and oranges across half the horizon and totally blinded my camera. So no pictures. :(

Maybe a little late now, but a close-up of a reflection of sunrise/sunset can sometimes work better than a direct picture of it (especially if it's just too bright for your lens/camera). Sunglasses, a shiny deck, or anything marginally reflective (even white paint) can work, especially with a digital camera where it's easy to nullify the hue of the actual surface you're reflecting off of (once you're back at a PC).
